Lesson Description

Students learn to factor a polynomial that has four terms by grouping the first and third terms together, or the second and fourth terms together, or the first three terms together, or the last three terms together. The problems in this lesson also involve factoring out a negative to switch the order of the terms, as well as perfect square trinomials (when grouping three terms together).
