Lesson Description

Students learn to solve square root equations by first isolating the square root, then squaring both sides of the equation. Students also learn to solve cube root equations by first isolating the cube root, then cubing both sides of the equation. Make sure to check the solution in the original equation. If it does not check, then the answer is the null set.
