Lesson Description - Math Factoring:

This lesson covers the idea of math factoring. Students learn to factor more difficult trinomials in the form ax^2 + bx + c, and learn that some trinomials in this form cannot be factored. Students also learn that a binomial in the form a^2 – b^2 is called the difference of two squares, and can be factored as (a + b)(a – b).
