Simplifying Radicals
Multiplying Square Roots

Lesson Description

Students learn to multiply square roots by multiplying the numbers that are outside the radicals, and multiplying the numbers that are inside the radicals. Students also learn that a square root squared - or a square root multiplied by itself - is equal to the radicand, or the number inside the square root.
