Parallel Lines
Given Lines are Parallel

Lesson Description

Students learn that, if two parallel lines are cut by a transversal, then corresponding angles are congruent, alternate interior angles are congruent, and same-side interior angles are supplementary. Students then use Algebra to solve problems that incorporate these characteristics of parallel lines.
