Lesson Description - Absolute Value Problems:

This lesson covers the idea of absolute value problems. Students combine addition and subtraction of integers with absolute value. For example, to simplify I –3 + 2 I, first simplify –3 + 2 to get –1, then simplify I –1 I, to get +1. Remember that the absolute value of any positive or negative number is positive.
